We are absolutely delighted to share with you the DfE’s latest Opportunity Areas Insight Guide, with the theme of Health and Education. This is the third in a thematic series of national publications showcasing projects from across the Opportunity Area programme, sharing insight into place-based approaches to challenges identified in the 12 Opportunity Areas.
The Health and Education Insight Guide features the Hastings Opportunity Area-funded Emotional Wellbeing Keyworker Service, which is one of a number of interventions that have supported children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing in the town. Pupils aged 9-14 years have benefitted from the service, which has evolved from a focus on supporting pupils to providing support to both pupils and their parents or carers.
The aim of the Insight Guides is to share learning from projects, providing further information to schools and communities to overcome similar challenges elsewhere.
